2005 AMERICAN LE MANS PORTLAND

It's mid Summer and Racing has come to the Northwest.   Everyone is tan, and as the old saying goes..."Summertime, the living is easy".  Instead of being bundled up in Gore-Tex and Soft Shells as in Winter, we can enjoy Summer wearing shorts, sandals and soaking up the sun.  The American Le Mans series made their annual stop in Portland this weekend.  Some of the sweetest race cars in the world, many of them fresh from the 24 Hour of Le Mans last month in France.  For those of us that enjoy racing, technology and German engineering...it doesn't get much better than this.  It's also the same weekend as the big Beer Fest on the waterfront in Portland, where 80 micro breweries from around the country pour their finest suds.  The two events together make for a great weekend!  To our friends around the world "Cheers" and keep enjoying Summer!  ~ Chris
